Proposal in Highland Park 

Lakeside Park in Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas gave us the most peaceful, cinematic backdrop for Austin and Tori’s proposal. It was a soft overcast day and the rain had cleared out just a few hours prior leaving the air cool, the stone pathways glistening, and the colors super rich and grounded.

Austin planned the sweetest surprise right by the water's edge. He set up an intimate lakeside picnic complete with all the thoughtful details. The centerpiece of it all was a custom book of memories he made for Tori filled with photos and moments from their story together. Watching her flip through the pages and was like watching them relive those memories over again. Moments like that are the exact reason photography is so important. Long after the picnic is packed up and the ring is on her finger, those tangible photos are what pull you right back into how the moment actually felt.
