An Intimate Blue-Hued Wedding at Heirloom Hideaway
There's a version of love that only comes with time. The kind that isn't rushing to prove anything, just settling in to stay. Carl and Amy have that love, and it showed in every moment of their day.

A Second Chance at Forever at Heirloom Hideaway
There's a particular kind of love that shows up the second time around. One that knows exactly what it's looking for and doesn't waste time pretending otherwise. Carl and Amy carry that love. This wasn't their first wedding, but it felt like their truest one. No fuss, no oversized guest list, just the people who are their whole world standing in one place at Heirloom Hideaway in Fort Worth, Texas.
And their world is a small, mighty one. It was Carl, Amy, and Amy's two kids, who I have a feeling weren't just guests but the whole reason the day mattered as much as it did. And of course, there was Bo their fur child, who I'm convinced understood the assignment better than anyone. His actions felt just as intentional as the humans, like he'd been waiting his whole life for this family to become official.
Blue, In Every Shade
If their love story had a color, it would be blue and they knew it. From the palette down to the smallest details, soft blues, dusty blues, deep midnight blues wove through the entire day. Blue that felt less like a design choice and more like a mood, calming.
Where Quiet Becomes Magic
There's no performing for the camera when a day is built on love this unconditional and that's exactly what I try to protect. When two people feel safe enough to just be themselves, the guard comes down, and what's captured is genuine connection.
Heirloom Hideaway wrapped the whole day in warmth, the kind that lets people just be themselves. A place where Amy's children could watch their mom get her happy ending, in real time, right in front of them.
This is the kind of wedding that reminds me why I do this work. Not the size of it, the truth of it.
For Carl & Amy
Thank you for trusting me to capture a day so beautiful and so completely yours. Watching your family become whole is one of the great honors of this job. This is more than a passion to me. It's a devotion to love, in every form.
