Mike and Melissa flew all the way in from Utah to visit family, but Mike had a much bigger surprise hidden up his sleeve: popping the question right in the heart of Texas. Capturing their proposal at the Fort Worth Stockyards was an absolute blast from start to finish.

We made the most of every corner of the Stockyards. We grabbed shots along the architectural stairs leading up to the restaurants, swept through the winding brick roads, and snapped a few sleek sneak peeks right outside Hotel Drover. We even made sure to capture the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards sign to anchor the whole memory. One of the absolute best details? They wore matching branded boots that added the coolest personalized touch to their portraits.

Honestly, our energies matched so naturally that the whole session felt like hanging out with best friends I’d known for years. It was pure fun and the absolute best way to celebrate their new chapter!
