When It Pours, Love Blooms: Jordan & Tyler at Arrowwood
Love in Bloom at Arrowwood
If there is one truth I know deep in my heart, it’s that the most unforgettable days are rarely the ones that go strictly according to plan. They are the days where the world slows down, the weather rolls in, and everyone in the room leans completely into the beauty of the uncontrollable. Jordan and Trevor’s wedding at Arrowwood Weddings and Events in Palmer, Texas was the ultimate proof that love doesn't just survive a storm, it blooms right in the middle of it.
The morning hustle
Like most wedding mornings, Jordan and Trevor's started off joyfully chaotic with hair, makeup, nervous laughter everywhere. But somewhere in the middle of it, the two of them slipped each other private vows, just for each other.
Atmospheric skies and last minute magic
The Texas sky had other plans that morning, opening up flooding rain that showed no sign of quitting. Rather than stressing over the weather, Jordan and Trevor leaned into a new version of the day. They had a choice to wait it out or step forward into the rain, and they chose to embrace the storm and keep moving. Then right on cue, just as the ceremony was about to start, the clouds parted and the rain stopped. Their original outdoor vision fell seamlessly back into place.
And the color palette? The cherry on top, bringing warmth against the cool moodiness of the day. Deep burgundy, soft dusty pink, and rich romantic reds spilled across the florals, while the groomsmen stood sharp and classic in black suits. The contrast was bold and timeless.
Under the canopy of the great oak
Set against Arrowwood’s lush foliage, their ceremony unfolded beneath beautiful towering oak tree. Framed by a gorgeous floral arch, Jordan and Trevor exchanged their promises while the rain lifted around them.
Boot scootin' bride
A Texas celebration isn't complete without a little late night party attire! Right as the reception kicked off, Jordan made a swift outfit swap into a playful short wedding dress and cowgirl boots. The switch was equal parts fashion and pure comfort, letting her dance, spin, and soak in every second of the party with total freedom and undeniable style. It was a look truly made for a grand entrance.
Holding on to what's real
The second you let go of the idea of "perfect conditions" and just show up and be present, the story that unfolds is so much richer than anything we could have staged. Jordan and Trevor didn't just leave their rainy wedding day with beautiful photographs. They left with a record of a day that was completely their own.
